Thais Alvs
Thais is a globally trained manual lymphatic drainage specialist who has developed her unique method that supports positive clinical outcomes and always includes holistic approaches to healing. Beginning her journey in Brazil in 2018 under the mentorship of Renata França—a pioneer in lymphatic sculpting—she honed advanced techniques for detoxification and body contouring. Driven to deepen her clinical knowledge, Thais pursued specialized certifications with Joana Medrado (post-operative care) and Nany Mota (fibrosis management) and later trained at Dr. Vodder’s International School and the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS). Most recently, she studied under Dr. Perry Nicholston, integrating cutting-edge approaches to lymphatic health.
A lifelong student of the body’s wisdom, Thais views touch as a language. Her hands do not merely massage—they listen and respond, creating a dialogue that calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and activates the parasympathetic state. This intentional approach underpins her work in fertility support, prenatal/postpartum care, brain health optimization, and holistic detoxification.
Thais’s practice is rooted in science and soul:
Evidence-Informed Care: Leveraging advanced training in post-op rehabilitation, fibrosis therapy, and neuro-lymphatic connections.
Nervous System Regulation: Prioritizing techniques that reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and enhance metabolic resilience.
Energy Integration: Balancing the physical and subtle body to amplify innate healing capacity.
As an educator, she empowers practitioners to merge technical mastery with intuitive empathy, fostering confidence in addressing complex client needs. Currently advancing her skills in Acupuncture at AIM Academy, Thais embodies lifelong learning, blending Eastern and Western modalities to redefine integrative wellness.
“Touch is energy in motion. When we honour the body’s intelligence, we don’t just treat symptoms—we awaken its ability to thrive.”
